Cooling services we offer

Repair, replacement, installation and maintenance for central air, high-efficiency systems and ductless cooling.

Signs your AC needs service

Air conditioners rarely quit without hinting first. A small repair in May beats a failure during the first 90° week of July.

Call us if you notice any of the following.

Common cooling problems

  • Warm air from the vents
  • Weak airflow
  • Ice on the coils or lines
  • Water pooling near the unit
  • Loud rattling or buzzing
  • Humidity that never drops
  • Frequent on/off cycling
  • Breaker trips when it starts

Questions homeowners ask

Short answers first. Call us and we'll talk it through, no pressure, no jargon.

How long does an air conditioner last in Connecticut?

Typically 12–15 years with regular maintenance. Coastal and heavily wooded properties can see slightly shorter condenser life.

Is a bigger AC better?

No. An oversized system cools fast but shuts off before it removes humidity, leaving the house clammy and wearing the equipment out sooner. Proper sizing matters more than tonnage.

Why is my AC running but not cooling?

Most often a low refrigerant charge, a dirty coil, a failed capacitor or a blocked filter. All four are same-visit diagnoses for our technicians.

How much does AC replacement cost?

It depends on size, efficiency and whether ductwork needs work. We give a written price for every option before anything is ordered, and 0% financing is available for qualified buyers.

When should I schedule a tune-up?

Spring, before the first heat wave. Book early, the calendar fills as soon as temperatures climb.
